We care about every order and understand how meaningful flowers can be. Because flowers are perishable and arrangements are handcrafted, the final product may vary slightly based on seasonal availability and design considerations. We work hard to provide fresh, beautiful flowers and dependable service. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work to make it right.

Delivery Policy

Ordering During Holidays: Store and delivery hours may vary during major holidays and peak periods. To help ensure timely delivery, please place your order at least one day in advance for the following holidays and peak periods:

Same-Day Delivery

Orders placed before 2:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone are generally eligible for same-day delivery Monday through Friday. For addresses outside our local delivery area, orders must typically be placed by 12:00 p.m. for same-day delivery. Saturday same-day orders must be placed by 12:00 p.m.

Specific Delivery Times

We cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time. However, we generally deliver within four hours of receiving the order. You may include a preferred time frame in the special instructions, and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Delivery Hours

Normal delivery hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for businesses, until 6:00 p.m. for private residences, hotels, and hospitals, and until 2:00 p.m. for high schools. During major holidays such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, delivery hours may be extended from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Homes

Funeral orders are our highest priority. If an order is placed too late for the funeral service, we will contact you promptly so you can make alternative arrangements or have the flowers sent to the family's residence. If the funeral home's postal code or full address is unavailable, we will verify it on your behalf. We typically contact the funeral home to confirm the viewing time and coordinate delivery. If the requested delivery date is before the viewing, we will follow the funeral home's instructions. For a Sunday viewing, if delivery is too late for Saturday or Sunday, we will confirm whether a viewing or service is scheduled for Monday and adjust the order accordingly.

Funeral Arrangement Banners

Because funeral orders are time-sensitive, if a requested banner is not included or is unavailable, we may add additional flowers to create a fuller arrangement.

High Schools

High schools generally do not accept student deliveries. Please direct teacher gifts to the school and student orders to the student's residence. Orders for high schools should be submitted in advance, as they typically must be received by 2:00 p.m.

Weekend Delivery

If Sunday delivery is unavailable and time permits, we may schedule delivery for Saturday for items such as birthday and anniversary gifts. If neither Saturday nor Sunday is available, we will reschedule the order for Monday and notify you of the new delivery date. We will contact you before rescheduling a birthday or anniversary gift for Monday.

P.O. Boxes

We cannot deliver flowers to P.O. boxes or A.P.O. addresses.

If No One Is Home

Depending on the delivery location, the driver may leave the order in a secure location, with a neighbour, or leave a notice with instructions for arranging re-delivery. The recipient or sender may need to contact us to coordinate the next delivery attempt.

Incorrect Addresses

If the address provided is incorrect and delivery has already been attempted, a $10 address-correction fee will apply. Flowers and Beyond is not responsible for deliveries made to an incorrect address provided by the customer. The customer remains responsible for the full purchase amount.

Canceling an Order

Same-day orders are processed promptly and generally cannot be changed. Once an order is being prepared, is en route, or has been delivered, cancellation or modification may not be possible. To request a cancellation or change before processing, please contact us at (403) 216-2163.

We May Contact the Recipient

In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to confirm that someone will be available to receive the delivery.

Requests to Leave an Item at the Door

If you request that an arrangement be left unattended, you assume responsibility for any loss or damage that may result. We strongly discourage instructions to leave an arrangement on a doorstep, porch, in a yard, or anywhere the recipient cannot personally accept it. Flowers and Beyond is not responsible for missing or damaged products resulting from such requests.

Recipient Refusal of Delivery

If the recipient refuses the delivery, the sender may be responsible for the full cost of the gift.

Card Messages

The message entered in the Card Message field will accompany the gift. Billing information is not included with the gift or card message.

Applicable sales tax will be displayed at checkout.

Many products are available in Regular, Deluxe, and Premium sizes. Upgrade options are displayed where available.

Substitution Policy

Fresh Flowers

We aim to deliver your flowers fresh, beautiful, and on time. Because floral products are seasonal and local availability varies, we may occasionally need to substitute flowers of equal or greater value. We will preserve the arrangement's overall look and feel by considering its shape, size, style, and colour combination. For arrangements featuring one flower variety, we will prioritize the variety over the colour. For example, if an order specifies yellow daisies, we may use daisies in another colour rather than a different yellow flower. White and cream roses may be substituted for one another, as may peach and pink roses. White orchids may also be substituted with purple or pink orchids, and vice versa.

Balloons

If a hospital does not permit latex balloons, we may substitute a Mylar balloon.

Plants

For green and blooming plants, we may substitute a similar plant of equal or greater value. For specialty plants such as orchids, we will make every effort to match the plant type, although the colour may vary. Plant containers will be matched as closely as possible.

Gift Baskets

We may substitute basket items with items of equal or greater value when necessary to preserve freshness and ensure timely delivery.

Special-Occasion Substitutions

To ensure timely delivery for funerals, birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions, we may substitute flowers of equal or greater value if the requested flowers are unavailable and we cannot reach you using the phone number or email address provided.
